Enrollment is still open for free adult education classes offered by Lucerne Valley Adult Education, which operates under the Lucerne Valley Unified School District.
“Classes are still open,” said Nancy Monson, a computer and business instructor with the school district. “There is plenty of room.”
An orientation, registration and testing session was held last Monday afternoon for the classes offered by Lucerne Valley Adult Education. All but two of the adults who signed up are parents of students in the Lucerne Valley Unified School District.
A make-up orientation, registration and testing day is set for 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 in Room E 102 at Lucerne Valley High School.
Lucerne Valley Adult Education offers an array of classes. Adult students can earn their high school diploma, earn their GED or take an English as a Second Language class to improve English speaking, reading and writing skills. Other classes include computer, employability, and auto repair and maintenance.
