Middle High School Biology/Anatomy teacher Abigail Jimenez and Elementary School Instructional Aide Kristine Leary are the Lucerne Valley USD’s November Employees of the Month. Abigail and Kristine were given their awards during the Thursday, November 14th Board of Trustees meeting by Superintendent Peter Livingston. Also, school board members Jason Hansen and Tom Courtney were acknowledged for serving our country as veterans of the military.
Mr. Livingston quoted each school site's administration team, which nominated each awardee.

Lucerne Valley Middle/High School is thrilled to recognize Abigail Jimenez as our Certificated Employee of the Month, Mr. Livingston said.
“A dedicated and inspiring educator, Mrs. Jimenez brings exceptional passion and expertise to teaching Biology and Anatomy. Her students not only gain a thorough understanding of the material but also develop a genuine interest in the sciences, thanks to her engaging and creative approach in the classroom.
“Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Jimenez plays an invaluable role in supporting our school community. She consistently goes above and beyond by assisting with the Spanish Club, fostering a welcoming environment for students to explore and appreciate Spanish culture. Additionally, she dedicates her time and energy to guiding the Class of 2025, helping these students navigate their high school journey and encouraging their growth.
“Her positive impact extends to staff as well, as she has built strong relationships throughout the school. Mrs. Jimenez is admired for her collaborative spirit and unwavering commitment to her students’ success, making her an invaluable asset to our team.
