Run In The Rocks 2024 Attracts More than 30 Runners

The Lucerne Valley USD school community led by a strong contingent of Lucerne Valley Elementary School 100 Mile Club members and district staff recreational athletes came out to support local schools at the annual Run in the Rocks event on Saturday, October 20, 2024.

Jason Hart, the school district’s chief IT staff member won the event in a time of 25 minutes and 7 seconds. Raymond Graham took second with a time of 28:32; Richard Redding, a Run in the Rocks veteran, was the oldest participant at the age of 73 and came in with a time of 28:38; Lucerne Valley Middle High School assistant principal Christopher Watkins was fourth in 29:03; Juan Gonzalez was the first youngster with a time of 29:37; and Ronnie Tait was the first female runner with a finishing time of 29:36.
