Middle-schooler Lillianna Berletich and high school student Brandon Wilson were recognized as Students of the Month during the September 12th meeting of the Lucerne Valley USD’s Board of Trustees. The awards were presented by LVMHS Assistant Principal Chris Watkins.
Lillianna was nominated by her science teacher Tara Bechtold, according to Mr. Watkins.
“Lillianna completes all assignments on time, participates in all class discussions, helps her classmates as well as asking if there is anything she can help with. Lillianna is an exemplary student.”
Brandon, a high school senior, was nominated by Mr. Jacob Klinger, who teaches the Lucerne Valley Ranger program at the Middle High School.
“Brandon has shown leadership both in the classroom and out in the community. He cleans up trash without being prompted. He goes out of his way to help younger students with direction with lessons and drills. He maintains a positive attitude daily. He is goal oriented and is ensuring that he is doing everything he can to achieve those goals.”
