Student Educational Services staff member Diana Juarez was recognized as the Lucerne Valley Unified School District’s Classified Employee of the Month for August.
Superintendent Peter Livingston presented the award at Thursday’s Board of Trustees monthly meeting. He shared comments from Diana’s nominator, Vici Miller, director of Student Educational Services.
“Diana Juarez has been an outstanding addition to the Student Educational Services staff,” Mr. Livingston said. “She began as a clerk and soon was promoted to administrative assistant. Diana took over her new position with very little training but a positive I can do it attitude! She is a quick learner and very dedicated. Diana is always smiling and happy to assist anyone who needs it, parents or staff. Her bilingual skills are a huge blessing to Student Educational Services. She is an expert problem solver who does not give up. Her professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond her daily work hours are commendable. Diana Juarez is a tremendous asset to Lucerne Valley Unified School District.”
