Adele McClain, who serves as an administrator for Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley Adult Education, was recognized as Employee of the Month for June at the Thursday, June 9th meeting of Lucerne Valley USD’s Board of Trustees. The award was presented by LVUSD Superintendent Peter Livingston.
“Adele has worked with our Lucerne Valley Adult Education program since we brought it back a few years ago,” Mr. Livingston said. “She has been instrumental in leading our employees and growing the program. Her dedication to Lucerne Valley is evident in the growth of our graduates from our Adult School. Adele works well with all the staff in the program and is willing to do whatever is necessary to help Lucerne Valley.”
Additionally, Mrs. McClain has been able to expand the program and the funding received to support Adult Education. “She is a leader in the region and we have been very fortunate to have Adele as part of our program.”
Mrs. McClain said that the Lucerne Valley Adult Education program “has a special place in my heart.”
Earlier this year, she received an ACSA Administrator of the Year Award, an in 2019 was named the San Bernardino Bilingual Educator of the Year.
